First Tea Towel. Hooray!

This was so fun! My first tea towel ever. Also,one christmas present down. I made this from a Earth Day poster my husband got when he lived and worked in the Big Apple. Its a Christmas gift for my sister who lives in NYC. I wonder ......how can you possibly wipe your hands on a hand embroidered tea towel. They are so lovely, I want to make one for everyone. More to come!

Works in progress

With holiday time coming closer by the day there are loads of stitch projects in the works. What fun this year to be making embroidered tea towels. Inspiration for this can come from so many places! I've also found what looks to be a wonderful pattern for an apron. I just love picking out fabric for this. I'm starting with a holiday themed fabric to get those gift inspiring juices flowing! I'm also still working on a belated birthday gift for my lovely daughter who has some trouble sleeping so I came up with this sweet pillowcase idea. Well those leaves are taking some time.
